Maplegate Country Club

The Bay Pointe Club

The Bay Pointe Club was built in 1964 - and was known as Wareham Country Club until 1988, the same year the Pavilion was constructed, and the famous island green 7th hole was created.

The Bay Pointe Club now possesses the unique collection of 18 championship golf holes designed by Geoffrey Cornish, The Pavillion Event Center and the clubhouse, which features a fully stocked pro shop and The Bay Pointe Grille.

This 18-hole golf course and lighted driving range is conveniently located on Route 1 in Norwood behind the Chateau Restaurant and Hampton Inn, close to Route 95.

Designed by Sam Mitchell, built by Frank Simoni and opened in 1975, Norwood Country Club is one of the best-kept golf secrets in the area. A par 71, 6009-yard layout, the course has fairly flat terrain with medium-sized, well-manicured greens.
